"I'd trade all my tomorrows for one single yesterday..."

I like to joke that if you flip through the many, many photo albums of our childhood, you’d have a movie of our lives. Our mother captured every lovely memory of us, yet there are only a handful of photos of her among what must be thousands of Rachael and I.

We first got the idea to do our next round of mini sessions as a day of “Mommy and Me” – a time for moms like ours to get out from behind the camera and take photos with their wee ones. While I still love that idea, it kind of turned into something bigger. It’s not just moms who hide from cameras, sometimes it’s dads, partners, spouses, teenagers, grandparents, furbabies... okay, okay, I admit it- me.

So we decided to have a day of what we’re calling "The Nostalgia Sessions".  Shorter than our traditional portrait sessions, each nostalgia session will last 30 minutes in our top-secret, vintage-themed location. You will receive 15 digital images and an 8x10 lustre fine art print with the option to order additional prints and gifts from your private online gallery.

At $99, the investment for your nostalgia session is a smaller commitment than our traditional sessions and will also support a good cause: This year, we are excited to be donating a portion of the proceeds to Art with Heart, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children overcome traumatic experiences through creative expression. You can read more about Art with Heart here.
