Love of a Lifetime | Everett Wedding on Silverlake | Evidence of Life Photography

One thing we love about the couples who choose us to capture their important memories is seeing everyone's take and interpretation on wedding traditions. Some of our favorite moments at Amanda & Miguel's romantic union:

  • Giving away the bride: by Mom! We have seen many brides choose to walk down the aisle alone, with both parents, with dad, grandpa or even brothers. But seeing just Mom walking her beautiful blushing daughter down the aisle on her wedding day was a first at one of our weddings and it makes my heart smile!
  • Uniting as family: I just love when our couples choose to incorporate their children in the ceremony. Amanda and Miguel chose to incorporate their darling little toddler in the sand ceremony portion of the day and even the kiss! 
  • Cake topper: Speaking of incorporating the little ones! Check out their cake topper featuring the silhouette of bride, groom AND little girl. Swoon!
  • Parent Dances: Another wonderful moment was seeing Amanda and her mother embrace for a Mother-Daughter dance while Miguel and his mother shared the dance floor for a mother-son dance followed by a daughter-step-father dance. *heart swell* *sigh*
